Talking with a neighbor about my trip last week and flying in and out of New Bern NC she asked if I knew New Bern was the birthplace of Pepsi. While tempted to answer yeah everyone knows that I just nodded yup!
She then asked if I knew where Pepsi Cola got its name from? She said an old timer told her years ago that Pepsi-Cola got its name by rearranging the letters in “EPISCOPAL” from the church across the street from Bradham’s Drug Store its birthplace!
