Tossing and turning last nite I keep replaying an ongoing conversation I’ve had with my Dad in my head. I sense a disappointment in his voice and wonder what I can do to fix it. Then I hear him saying ” you can’t fix stupid!”
So I’ve said before and will say again, Dad I just wanted you to know, you may have thought I didn’t see, or that i had not heard the life lessons that you taught me, But I got every word and pick up everything in our daily texts. It’s written on my heart. Without you Dad I would not be the man I am today; You built a strong foundation no one can take away. I grew up with your values, and I am glad I did: So here’s to you dear Father from your forever grateful kid.
