Local whenever possible. It’s a must. It’s so sad to see the small towns of America these days. They have no local stores left and for some reason the populations of these towns seem content with driving a greater distance to “The Store That Need Not Be Named” to buy crap goods manufactured by companies that outsourced the jobs from the now closed local factory. Yes the goods are cheaper, but dad is on unemployment. I just came back from visiting my parents who are getting yet another one of “The Store That Need Not Be Named” right across the street from a local grocer. That grocer will soon be out of business and his suppliers will be losing yet another store they supply. Ok … off my soapbox and off to bed.
