What did you do today? Is that what you have become ?
Nietzsche spoke of the eternal recurrence. Basically, you should live in such a way so that if I said to you, “You’re going to have to repeat this life over and over again for infinity” that your response would be “Sounds great.”
Do you feel that way? If not, are you going to change what you do tomorrow?
It does not have to be a major change ! Hold the door open for a stranger. Take that walk around the block. Pay for the person behind you bagel. Call your mother just because and say “I love you !”
Your brain will change to adapt. Your body will change to adapt.
But will you? Tomorrow God willing I will see another birthday as the sun rises.
So God my prayer this early morning is, I wish to remove all anger, hatred, jealousy, envy and every other negative emotion from my heart. I want to cleanse my heart and refill it with feelings of love and joy. God, please help me celebrate my birthday this way. God, Thank you
